My First Two Weeks

Well, I decided to do this two weeks ago. In that time I have done a lot of brainstorming about fundraising, started walking regularly and got myself registered. I also checked out the extensive tools available on the website Last weekend Denise and I took our first "ramp up" walk, which is where you start pushing your distance. Our first "distance" was four miles. I didn't die! It was actually enjoyable. This morning we dod our second ramp up walk, probably the same distance because we do still have a lot of time to train.....over 6 months! Plus we are both trying to get our dogs to go (nicely) on the walks and I think that doubles the effort!! My first goal is 50 miles walked in the month of February. Well, one week in and Ive done 13 miles so......Im on my way!!
